Celebrating Colour. Red
Our inaugural Celebrating Colour night with a focus on RED was a tremendous success.
We were privileged to have Peita Ward as our guest. Peita is a highly qualified and sought-after camera club judge with a keen eye for detail and the ability to impart knowledge or tips for improvement. Asked to comment on the photography, both the prints and the audio visual displays, she chose her top 4 images of the night and the audience then voted on which one would be our image of the month on the PPP website calendar. Sylvie’s rooster was a clear winner. Check the website to admire this magnificent shot.
There were some very good AVs too on the night and Peita was invited to comment on these also. This was a new and possibly scary time for PPP members; we’re not used to hearing any critique or evaluation of audio visuals so there were mixed
comments after the night about what some had learned or experienced following Peita’s analysis.
